Ten Southern California Vortexes

These areas have been identified by vortex experts as either “energy vortexes” – sites of magnified spiritual energy, or places with increased UFO sightings, as noted.

Catalina Island – reported UFO activity. (A company states that it gives tours of UFO sightings on the island, but after numerous attempts, I realized no one returns your calls.)

Desert Hot Springs – energy vortex (See page xxx)

Fort Tejon (the Grapevine) – paranormal activity

Giant Rock – energy vortex and UFO activity (see page xxx)

Hollywood – energy vortex (see page xxx)

Joshua Tree – energy vortex and UFO activity (see page xxx)

Ojai – energy vortex. Many spiritual organizations make their home there. (see page xxx)

Pyramid Lake – energy vortex

Old Mission Santa Barbara – strong spiritual energy pouring out of the altar

Zaca Lake – energy vortex, possible UFO activity

Footnote: Zaca Lake was sacred to the Chumash for thousands of years –- they believed the lake has no bottom and their Elders went there to die. In between the Chumash and the current owners, Zaca Lake was owned by a mysterious Human Potential Foundation who pressured the White House to change its policy on UFOs. Today, Zaca Lake is privately owned by a religious organization and is no longer available to the public.

We drove up to Zaca Lake to see if we could visit and found ourselves facing a locked gate with a No Trespassing sign. As we stopped long enough to snap a photo, out of nowhere an ominous black 4-wheel drive with tinted windows drove up behind us and intimidated us to leave, which we did. Sometimes I wonder – what if we’d had the courage to say hello? Would we have seen the Men in Black? Aliens? Rednecks? And now I see that the website for the “religious organization” which was up when I began my research has been taken down.
