19 Nov The Legend of Lemuria
A world of beautiful, healthy, pleasure-loving people; a highly advanced civilization – wait – are we talking about California? Or the lost continent of Lemuria, also known as Mu?
For centuries occult writers have written about a lost continent called Lemuria which submerged beneath the Pacific ocean, a counterpart to Atlantis which sank below the Atlantic. California is believed to be all that is left of the land mass which is above water. Some writers believe that contemporary Californians are reincarnated Lemurians, or descendents of the few Lemurian survivors who escaped to what are now known as the Santa Monica Mountains or Mount Shasta.
The great Flood was believed to have happened in 12,500 BCE when the entire Lemurian civilization was cataclysmically destroyed. Interestingly enough, Chumash legends tell of a First People civilization in California wiped out by a catastrophic flood.
There are reportedly Lemurian ruins up by the Ventura County line surrounded by trees and foliage and hidden from the beaten path. Perhaps you and your friends want to go searching for them?
