Old Mission Santa Barbara
We’d heard that the Mission is a strong spiritual vortex and decided to check it out. It seemed unlikely considering the usual violence and genocide perpetrated by the Catholic friars against the Native people. However, when onsite we were bowled over by the powerful spiritual energy, especially radiating from the altar. Definitely worth the trip. We also brought home holy water captured into tiny bottles purchased in the gift shop.
