Annual Chumash Day Powwow at Malibu Bluff Park, 2 days, free to all

Blessing of the Animals – the Saturday before Easter Sunday on Olvera Street

The Sunrise Passion Play Service at Vasquez Rocks, Easter morning or the afternoon before, a fully enacted story of the crucifixion

Shaktifest – (kirtan festival) Memorial Day Weekend

Summer

 Summer Solstice Ceremony at Wishtoyo Chumash Foundation

Fall

World Peace Pilgrimage to Mount Baldy – held in the fall

The Festival of the Chariots at Venice Beach (Hare Krishna parade), 1st Sunday in August, 40,000 participants, upward of 20,000 are fed free meals

Bhaktifest – (kirtan festival) Labor Day Weekend

Dia de Los Muertos – Mexican celebration “Day of the Dead,” around Halloween
